The range of Champion Timber sheet materials includes:

• Plywood - We offer a number of different plywoods, available in different thicknesses, including hardwood throughout plywood suitable for external applications, hardwood faced general purpose plywood, birch plywood ideal for high-end joinery applications, marine plywood which conforms to BS1088-2003, and softwood structural plywood ideal for wall sheathing etc. We also have a range of handy panel sizes.
• MDF sheets - We only stock British-made PRO MDF in a range of thicknesses and handy panel sizes. Manufactured from high-quality wood fibres, dry-bonded with synthetic resins then compressed at a high density. A very versatile panel, with a wide variety of uses from general construction to furniture.
  • Higher density board than standard boards
  • Superior screw and fastener holding compared to standard boards
  • Smoother surfaces and edges for improved high-quality finishing
  • Ideal for paint, veneer or foils
  • Ideal for edge profiling
  • Easy to drill, shape and routs cleanly and easily, without splintering or chipping
  • Cuts to a crisp clean smooth edge, reducing breakout
  • Suitable for use with all woodworking tools
  • Moisture resistant version (MR) is ideal for use in areas of high humidity
• We also offer veneered MDF, which has a quality decorative veneer ideal for use in furniture, door and bespoke cabinet manufacture.
• Plasterboard - Champion Timber stocks a range of plasterboard and associated fixings for all your requirements. Our plasterboard is best used for partitioning, internal walls and ceiling linings. Available in a range of different sizes and profiles, including standard square edge and tapered edge, its ivory face and flat surface make it perfect for plastering and decoration after application.
• Insulation - We offer a wide range of insulation products from leading manufacturers and include cavity wall insulation, mineral wool insulation and insulation boards, including fixings and aluminium foil tape for installation. We have a wide range of insulation materials suitable for all different applications, with large stocks and of course free delivery in the local area.
